Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti -Ragging squad
The anti-ragging committee is headed by the head of the institution and consists of representatives of faculty members, parents, and students. The committee will consider the recommendation of the anti-ragging squad and take appropriate action.
Anti-Ragging Committee
The Anti-Ragging Committee is the apex body responsible for preventing and addressing incidents of ragging on campus. It ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. The responsibilities include:
- Formulating and implementing anti-ragging policies in compliance with legal guidelines.
- Conducting awareness programs to educate students about the consequences of ragging.
- Investigating complaints of ragging and taking disciplinary action against offenders.
- Supporting victims through counselling and grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Students are encouraged to report any ragging incidents to the committee for prompt action.
Anti-Ragging Squad
The Anti-Ragging Squad works as a proactive enforcement body to prevent ragging on campus. It acts as the first line of defence, ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Maintains vigilance to detect and deter ragging activities . Reports incidents to the Anti – Ragging Committee for investigation and action
The squad operates continuously to create a ragging-free campus environment. Together, the Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad are committed to ensuring a safe and harmonious academic atmosphere.
